To give administrators control over the migration, the interface offers detailed previews for the Exchange database—down to individual items. It’s worth noting that the conversion speed depends on the preferred output, with EML and MSG formats having the shortest turnaround time. Also, users can simply select the files they need to include in the conversion—whether individually or by batch. In doing so, users can remove obsolete or unnecessary emails from being included in the conversion process.

The application is also built on a parallel processing technology that allows the processing of up to four mailboxes from the offline EDB, reducing the time it takes to convert batches of files. You can also remove mailboxes from the queue and reinstate previously removed mailboxes. The software also comes with an export priority option that allows users to choose the priority queue number of individual items as they get processed by the platform.

While most mailbox conversions are done offline, Stellar Converter for EDB supports online conversion. Administrators can choose Exchange databases, configure them, and start the process without incurring downtime or glitches from the user end. If mailboxes disconnect while in session, the app comes with an option to refresh the mailboxes. However, this option requires users to download the Server Console to grant full rights.

There are three pricing plans available, starting with Corporate I. This single-user plan lets you convert up to 50 mailboxes with 100% integrity. With the upgraded Corporate II, you get similar capabilities but with support for multiple users and conversion of up to 500 mailboxes. Finally, a Toolkit plan includes the aforementioned features—plus the ability to repair and recover corrupted EDB files. You can also convert inaccessible Offline Storage Table (OST) files to PSTs and recover passwords for EDB files.
